The ReleaseIt deck unit by Teledyne Benthos is designed for control and communication with shallow-water acoustic releases.

It is ideal for controlling the R500 release. The unit features a lightweight, portable, splash-proof enclosure. It also includes a transport case for the transducer and accessories, a speaker output, an air-test speaker, an RS232 serial port, a touchscreen display, internal rechargeable batteries, and an external power input.
