Support designed for the deployment of Nortek current profilers. The tripod can be fitted with various accessories such as a battery cylinder, mounts for additional sensors, Teledyne Benthos acoustic modems, etc. It is designed to carry additional ballast if required, as well as to be fixed to the seabed. The tripod can be deployed in an anti-toppling configuration to withstand strong current forces. It can be equipped with a gimbal to ensure vertical alignment even on uneven seabeds. It is manufactured from corrosion-resistant materials: plastics (POM, P500 and PVC) and metallic components made of AISI 316L or A4 stainless steel (gimbal shafts and fasteners).
