Nortek presents the Signature100, a long-range current profiling instrument with an optional echosounder mode dedicated to biomass measurements.

The Signature100 is a measurement system that combines the capabilities of a state-of-the-art ADCP with those of a biological echosounder. It features an optional central beam that operates as a scientific echosounder in the 70–120 kHz range. Both the echosounder and the current profiler have a range of 300 to 400 m, providing unprecedented observation capabilities of zooplankton dynamics, krill and even fish schools. It also offers new insight into small-scale physical processes such as density gradients and internal waves.

Also available in a VM version for vessel-mounted measurements.
