Nortek presents its Signature VM Ocean – 100 kHz, an outstanding tool for vessel-mounted current measurements, offering an acoustic range of up to 300 m and an optional echo-sounder mode dedicated to biomass measurements.

The Signature VM Ocean – 100 kHz features an optional central beam that operates as a scientific echo sounder in the 70–120 kHz range. Both the echo sounder and the current profiler have a range of 300 to 400 m, providing unprecedented observational capability of zooplankton dynamics, krill, and even fish schools. It also offers a new perspective on small-scale physical processes such as density gradients and internal waves.
