Signature VM coastal – 1000|500|250 khz

Nortek presents its Signature VM Coastal series in 1000, 500 and 250 kHz versions. These are current meters suitable for measuring currents both from vessels and in fixed installations. They offer acoustic ranges of 30, 70 and 200 m respectively. An optional echosounder mode dedicated to sediment measurement is available on the 1000 and 500 kHz models.

The Signature VM Coastal – 1000 | 500 | 250 kHz series is a powerful, accurate and easy-to-use solution for applications requiring current measurements from a vessel or from the seabed. It includes GNSS hardware that provides vessel positioning, bottom tracking and current measurements. In the case of the 500 and 1000 kHz models, an optional fifth transducer is available for measuring sediment in the water column. It is ideal for coastal monitoring down to 200 m depth, port bathymetric surveys, current studies, sediment transport and large-scale mixing studies.
