The Seapoint Fluorescein Fluorometer (SFF) is a simple, rugged and easy-to-use analogue fluorescein sensor. It offers four measurement ranges: 0 to 5 / 15 / 50 / 150 µg/l.

This high-performance, low-power Seapoint sensor is ideal for in situ measurement of fluorescein concentration. Rated for immersion down to 6,000 m, the SFF excites fluorescein using a green LED lamp and an excitation filter. The light emitted by the fluorescein passes through an orange emission filter and is detected by a silicon photodiode. The received signal is processed to generate an output voltage proportional to the fluorescein concentration. The SFF can operate with or without a pump and features four user-selectable measurement ranges. For optimal and long-term measurement stability, optical sensors can be equipped with Zebra-Tech Hydro-Wiper cleaning brushes.
