The Seapoint Chlorophyll Fluorometer (SCF) is a simple, rugged and easy-to-use analogue chlorophyll sensor. It offers four measurement ranges: 0 to 5 / 15 / 50 / 150 µg/l.

The SCF is a high-performance, low-power Seapoint sensor, ideal for in situ measurement of chlorophyll concentration. Rated for immersion down to 6,000 m, the SCF excites chlorophyll using a blue LED lamp and an excitation filter. The fluorescent light emitted by the chlorophyll passes through a red emission filter and is detected by a silicon photodiode. The received signal is processed to generate an output voltage proportional to the chlorophyll concentration. The SCF can operate with or without a pump and features four user-selectable measurement ranges. For optimal and long-term measurement stability, optical sensors can be equipped with Zebra-Tech Hydro-Wiper cleaning brushes.
