The SAIV A/S CTD/STD208 multiparameter probe measures, calculates and stores conductivity/salinity, temperature, pressure, sound velocity and water density data. It supports three additional sensors, such as dissolved oxygen, fluorescence and turbidity. Compact and robust in design, the SD208 can be activated automatically or manually using a magnetic key. It selects the most appropriate measurement range thanks to its ability to manage sensors with an auto-range system. Sampling configuration and calibration coefficients are stored in non-volatile EEPROM memory, ensuring that data are not lost in the event of a power failure. Stored data can be transmitted simultaneously via an RS232 port for real-time use or via wireless communication (iPhone, iPad and PC). Ideal for fixed installations and for manual profiling or deployment with the SAIV APB5 automated buoy.
