The StableMoor® buoy by DeepWater Buoyancy is designed to reduce drag forces and increase the stability of moorings subjected to extreme currents. Thanks to its design, StableMoor® reduces tilt and displacement of moored instrumentation.

It is manufactured with a solid DeepTec® syntactic foam core and enclosed within a protective GRP layer, providing a smooth and durable exterior. One of its key advantages is that instruments can be installed or removed in just a few minutes without the need to dismantle the buoy.

This versatile platform can be equipped with multiple instrument receptacles, allowing the user to change their orientation, facing upwards or downwards as required for each deployment.

The instrument receptacles can be covered with an acoustically transparent LDPE window, further reducing drag without compromising sensor performance.
