Nortek’s Autonomous On-line System (AOS) provides global connectivity to current profilers and Doppler wave gauges from virtually any location. It is a complete solution that includes power supply, data transmission via Iridium, and web hosting for data visualisation through a URL. The system requires minimal user effort beyond ensuring an unobstructed view of the open sky and proper mounting of the AOS unit. Once connected, the system can begin transmitting data within just a few minutes.
