Nortek A/S

Nortek A/S is a company dedicated to the design, manufacture and sale of water velocity measurement instruments for scientific and engineering applications. Its continuous drive for improvement has led to the development of equipment for which it has gained international recognition in the field of oceanography. All of its products are based on the acoustic Doppler effect for measuring water flows. The sensors it manufactures range from turbulence-scale instruments (single-point sensors and the Signature profiler range) to long-range current profilers (up to 250 metres). Its typical users include scientists, research institutions, oceanographic consultancies and engineering firms, all with high expectations of quality and a demand for top-tier products in terms of both reliability and ease of use.
