The interactions between the atmosphere and the ocean are complex. Each of these fluids interacts with the other, modifying its dynamic and thermal characteristics. From an oceanographic perspective, in order to characterise an area and understand in detail the mechanisms that define its dynamics (water mass movements, energy exchanges, generation of currents and waves, etc.), it is necessary to identify and understand the atmospheric factors that influence the dynamics of surface layers. Surface heat exchanges and pressure variations are clear examples of this interaction. INNOVA Oceanografía Litoral S.L. can offer two approaches to studying these phenomena: high-frequency radar systems and meteorological stations.
